The Phoenix Rises

A Poem Of Survival...

In ashes the Phoenix lay Yet through the flames, it found a way To rise again, renewed and strong In spite of all that had gone wrong Its wings once scorched, now grace the sky A flame of hope that cannot die For in the face of great defeat The Phoenix found a way to beat The odds that sought to bring it down And rise above its fiery crown To shine a light for all who see That even when it seems to be The end of all that we hold dear There's still a chance to conquer fear And find the strength to carry on When all that's left is hope alone So when life's hardships come to call

And seek to make us feel so small We'll remember this bird of fire And rise again, stronger, higher For in the ashes of defeat There lies a chance to find the seat Of power that can change our fate And make survival truly great.
